The collection contains some correspondence, clippings, directories of students and faculty, audiocassettes, slides, printed material, scrapbooks and information about orientation and other programs sponsored by the International House. Of particular note, the directories in box 9 may be a useful way to identify past Asian faculty, staff, and students.
Pureun was founded in 2017 for students interested in Korean popular culture. The group performs both original choreography and dance cover from K-pop genres. The collection consists of administrative records, marketing materials, photographs, and video recordings.
A student group founded to facilitate communication between Duke cultural student groups, Spectrum counted the Asian Student Alliance and Diya among its members.
The collection contains folders on the Chinese Student Association (some materials are in Chinese), the Asian Business Club, the Duke Japan-America Club (which contains issues of club publication "The Bridge"), Duke Asian American Theater, and Duke Chinese Dance, as well as several clubs related to international students. The contents of these folders may vary from flyers picked up around campus to small collections of organizational records.
The Office of Intercultural Affairs is the predecessor of the current Center for Multicultural Affairs. The proceedings of the annual Unity through Diversity luncheon contain student-written statements about the experiences of Asian/Asian-American students.
