You need to create your own personal login when you first access the system
You must have a cell phone with you when you set up an account on a Library terminal. See step 10.
At some point, you’ll need to fill out a very short survey about your job, interests, time zone, etc.

Once your personal login is validated and you open the Bloomberg Service, you can then install the Excel Add-in to display the Bloomberg tab in Excel for added functionality.
On the library computers you need to install the Excel Add-in each time you're on a terminal you haven't used before (information kept with your personal profile on each computer), or after computer maintenance has removed your profile.
Some users have noted problems with pushing data from Bloomberg to Excel (by clicking on red Excel links in a Bloomberg window). If this occurs, just go in the opposite direction: use the dialogs from the Bloomberg ribbon in Excel to pull the data into Excel.
