In this guide you will find some of the most in-demand books from the Divinity School Library's Reference Room, including commentary series, one-volume commentaries, and the series Feasting on the Gospels and Feasting on the WordMany of these books are available online, but for those that are not, the link embedded in the title will take you to the Duke Libraries catalog record.  You can also search for more sources using the Duke Libraries catalog's Advanced Search option.

Although these commentaries are not available online, you can still request a scan of the pages you would like to consult.

Use the Duke Libraries catalog Advanced Search feature to find additional biblical commentaries as well as monographs and edited volumes. 

To find commentaries, use this Subject string: 

"Bible. [Book name] -- Commentaries"

To find a monograph or edited volume of essays, use this subject string: 

"Bible. [Book name] -- Criticism, interpretation, etc"
