Once you start a project, the ArcGIS pro user interface consists of
- The Ribbon and a Quick Access Toolbar running horizontally across the top
The ArcGIS pro user interface also includes:
- Views in the middle section, typically for maps, layouts, and attribute tables
- Panes for the Contents, Catalog, Geoprocessing tool dialogs and the like. These can be docked where you like, but the default locations are to the left and right of the the Views.
- Tabs can be used to manage multiple views or multiple panes that are in the same area.
