Places to find materials

Books & Media search on library homepage

Locate books, films, recordings, journals, and more using the Books & Media search. Start with a keyword search, and narrow results using the column on the left.

Search Duke, UNC, NCSU, NCCU to find and request books from our Triangle Research Library Network partners. Delivery to campus is usually only 2 business days.

Can't wait? You can use your Duke Card to check books out anytime if you make the trip yourself to partner TRLN libraries!

Try WorldCat to search most North American libraries simultaneously; use "get it @ Duke" to request what Duke doesn't own via Interlibrary Requests. Allow 2 weeks on average to receive a book or article PDF; we will email you when materials are ready for pick-up.

How to request a book that's checked out or housed at the Library Service Center (LSC)... here's a step-by-step how-to.
