Major Catalogs

1. "Catalog" tab to the Duke Libraries catalog [not ALL search]

Use your natural language to find ONE book that's relevant. Then go into the record and click the subject headings assigned to that book to find more like it.

These are all library subject headings:

  • Bauhaus -    architectural firm
  • Gropius, Walter, 1883-1969    individual architect
  •  Expatriate architects   topic
  • Modern movement (Architecture) - Germany
  • Crying in art.   book treating an individual theme
  • Architecture, Modern - Periodicals   architectural journals to locate or browse

KubiKat - Open source index of arts journals (including architecture) compiled by the major German art-research centers.  COVERS ALL LANGUAGES

3. Google Books (books) and Google Scholar (articles) allow you to search published works by key-word.  It does not display the whole entity.

Map these titles to the Duke catalog.  If you are VPN-connected (or on Duke Blue) Duke's library catalog record should come up.
