Description of Triangle Research Libraries
(TRLN)
Collections

In 1999, four universities in the Research Triangle Park area -- Duke (Durham), North Carolina State (Raleigh), the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and North Carolina Central (Durham) -- received funding for a Title VI Resource Center, the NC Center for South Asia Studies, for the continued development of South Asian Studies on these four campuses. Title VI funding ended in 2010. Duke's Librarian for South and Southeast Asia's duties were expanded to cover the development of South Asia resources at all four universities in 2001.
