NVivo has several tools to help you visualize and explore your data, to organize your analysis, and to generate visualizations that can be included in a report. Visualizations can be utilized throughout your research, but some tools are especially useful toward the beginning of work. This section will review the chart types available.
NVivo limits the degree to which a chart can be modified without modifying the underlying data. However, in addition to the chart, NVivo will also produce a table of data (see the summary tab to the right) that can be visualized more flexibly in a program like Excel.
