Basic searching - library.duke.edu

Locate books, films, recordings, journals, and more using the Books & Media search. Start with a keyword search, and narrow results using the filters in the column on the left.

A quick way to find recordings specifically is to start your search from the Music Library homepage. You'll also find lots of links to streaming audio resources there.

Search TRLN to find and request books from our consortial partners, UNC-Chapel Hill, NCCU, and NC State. Delivery to campus is usually only 2 business days. (Can't wait? You can use your Duke Card to check books out anytime if you make the trip in person to partner TRLN libraries!)

Try WorldCat to search most North American libraries simultaneously; use "get it@Duke" to request what Duke doesn't own via Interlibrary Loan. Allow 2 weeks on average, although some materials may come sooner.

Need to request a book that's checked out or housed at the Library Service Center (LSC)? Here's an online tutorial.
