Evolutionary Anthropology

This guide was created by Hannah Rozear, Duke's Librarian for Biological Sciences, to highlight resources relevant to research in Evolutionary Anthropology.

Finding Specific Books or Book Chapters

Start at the library's website (library.duke.edu) for quick and easy access to print and e-books that are readily available at Duke.

View of a title search of the library's book search

  1. Find the full text of a specific book by using the library's Books search (aka Catalog). Paste in the title of the book (ex. Walker's mammals of the world) and click search.
  2. In the results, toggle to TRLN libraries to request books from Triangle-area libraries (UNC, NC State, or NCCU).
  3. Use WorldCat to search libraries worldwide and initiate requests for items Duke doesn't have.
  4. Can't find the book? Request books, or book chapters, that Duke doesn't own using interlibrary requests.
