CLST 248/ARTHIST 208: Art and Archaeology of Ancient Athens: Introduction

Use this guide to identify resources for your annotated bibliography.

Annotated Bibliography Assignment

The directions for your annotated bibliography assignment start here:

"What is your chosen site/monument/building? If you have chosen a large/multi-component/multi-period site, you should focus on a specific element or phase of it. If your chosen site fits into this category, what element of the site have you chosen?"

This research guide is a starting point for your assignment.  It lists research databases and specialized tools to help you identify scholarly articles, ancient texts, images, maps,  excavation reports, as well as the museums which store many of the artifacts.  Some of the pages include sample searches to show you how the resource works.

Don't hesitate to ask questions!
