Finding Maps in Duke Libraries

Maps and atlases are cataloged in Duke's online catalog. To see records of available maps for Middle Eastern countries, see the listing on the left.

Atlases are mostly housed in the Reference area and the Library stacks. Sheet maps are located in map cases in the Public Documents & Maps Department. For more detailed guide to Duke University Libraries maps, see this guide.

To find maps or atlases of a particular country, city, or other locality, perform a 'Subject Heading' search in the online catalog, typing: '[country/city] maps'.
