  • Web of Science
    Covers journals from all major scientific disciplines including back to 1898. Tracks citations so users can see which papers are having an impact on the literature.
  • Scopus
    The largest abstract and citation database, including peer-reviewed titles from international publishers, Open Access journals, conference proceedings, trade publications, and quality web sources. Good subject coverage of the natural and physical sciences.
  • PubMed
    Covers clinical and basic research journals in the life sciences. Employs MeSH terms (subject terms) that allows users to focus their searches.
  • BIOSIS Citation Index
    Covers journals, proceedings, books, and reports in the life sciences back to 1926. Tracks citations so users can see which papers are having an impact on the literature.
  • Zoological Record
    Covers all aspects of the zoological literature back to 1864.
  • Faculty of 1000
    Highlights and reviews the most important papers published in biology as chosen by leading scientists in the field.
