Tests and Measures: Obtaining Known Tests and Measures

If the availability line gives information about a journal article or a book, you can find the full-text of the instrument there. If the availability line gives the author's name, contact the author for a copy. If there is an acronym line that says TIM(A) though TIM(BB), we own the test in microfiche format. Take the call number at the top of the record (ex. TC005629) to the Microforms Department on the first floor and look for it in the Tests in Microfiche collection (LB3051 .T45x).

Contains about 1,200 instruments in 127 print volumes. Follow directions under the search box for a successful search, including the phrase "compilation volumes" in your search. Do a title search on ALICE for the name of the book. Borrow it through OhioLINK if we don't have it.

Enter the name of the instrument in the search box. Uncheck the box that says "Search words in thesaurus." Click on Search. Look at the last sentence of the abstracts. If the article or the ERIC document includes the full-text of the instrument, it will say so there.

This print source of nine volumes, published by the American Psychological Association, identifies articles in professional journals which include instruments. Do a title search on ALICE for the title of the journal identified.

Tests reviewed in Mental Measurements Yearbook will include publisher information and price as of the date of the review.

Tests in Print gives information about publishers and test price as of entry of the test in the database.
