Need Help? Chat with a Librarian

Hello!

This guide is designed to help you find resources for your Writing 101 class with Professor Sandra Sotelo-Miller. There's lots more available from Duke Libraries!  If you don't find what you need here, please contact Danette Pachtner or Kelley Lawton, your librarians for this course.

Basic Library Tools

  • Search in the online catalog for resources (other than journal articles!) available at Duke Libraries.
  • Search TRLN  (Triangle Research Library Network) to find and request items at the University of NC - Chapel Hill, NC State University and NC Central University if Duke doesn't own it or our copy is checked out.
  • Access your Library Account to see what you have borrowed and renew titles online.
  • Use Interlibrary Requests to borrow a book or get an article from another library in the TRLN network or across the country and deliver it to the library of your choice on campus.
  • Ask a Librarian if you get stuck!
