Welcome!

For general information on using Duke library resources, check out the Library 101 Tutorials, some of which are assigned below. Access to print books and physical library spaces is still limited due to the pandemic: please see the pages on building hours and services and library takeout.

After I visit your class, I'll post slides here.

Before Class on Jan 26

Before our class meeting, please view the two short videos on the Library 101: Finding Articles page (total time about 7 minutes). Also review the page on off-campus access to electronic resources, which can be helpful when experiencing access problems even on campus.

Recommended Article Databases

There are many (many!) places to find articles, including the Articles tab on the Duke Libraries homepage, Google Scholar, and plain old Google. I'm highlighting a few sources below that will be particularly effective for this course.
