Duke Law in D.C.: Duke Long-Distance

Remote research support for law students enrolled in the Duke in D.C. program.

Introduction

You may be 250 miles away from the Goodson Law Library, but Duke's electronic resources are always right at your fingertips. This guide compiles resources which will be helpful as you prepare your Duke in D.C. research paper.

Duke Libraries

The Duke Libraries provide access to thousands of e-books, e-journals, and other resources. A NetID and password will be required to access most subscriptions from off-campus.

Google Books Search

From 100-year-old law treatises to the latest Examples & Explanations study guides, Google Books offers the complete text or "preview" access to the text of thousands of books. If the text is provided only in "Snippet" or "Preview" mode, check the Duke Libraries Catalog for possible full electronic access.
