Where to find the program

  1. The Brandaleone Family Center for Data and GIS Services is on the second floor of Perkins Library, room 226, adjacent to the Map Collection.  The ArcGIS 9 program is loaded on the hard drives on the computers here.

  2. The software is now also installed in all of the OIT Windows computer labs on the Duke campus (formerly just in two labs).

  3. The software is Duke University site licensed, and users can get a free copy to use with certain restrictions: "ArcGIS is distributed free for use by faculty and staff, on university-owned machines only."
