Locating books

Catalog says available? Go to that library to pick it up in person.

Book checked out or at the Library Service Center(LSC)? Request it by clicking on "Get this title" in the upper right corner,  and then clicking "Request" under "Get it at Duke."

Citing sources

Use MLA or APA style for your projects.

Check out these sites for tips on citing sources:

To organize your research and produce a bibliography and in-text citations, create a free account in RefWorks

Ref Works

RefWorks is a web-based research management, writing and collaboration tool. Make a RefWorks folder for your EDU 100 projects, and for each paper that you need to write this semester.  Then "export" references (and full text) from a library database to RefWorks.  Use RefWorks Write-n-Cite to insert in-text references, and then use RefWorks to format a bibliography/works cited list.
