Books at Duke

Duke Catalog Search Tips:

1) Use standardized language (Library of Congress Subject Headings; follow links for similar titles):

2) In Advanced Search, limit to date, language, or format (e.g. "Videos and DVDs")

3) Search using truncation (e.g. wom*n and russia*)

4) Search for Russian words using Library of Congress Romanization Table

5) Locate and use book reviews, which can be found on the "Databases" tab, under "Databases by Subject," in the category 'Reference|Book Reviews'
